A demonstration showing that the image pixels that make up your image
are not the same thing
as the screen pixels that make up your computer screen.
On the left is an image at a ‘normal’ viewing size. On the right I’ve
magnified the image so that only a tiny part of it fills the screen,
making the image pixels clearly visible (while the screen pixels stay
the same size and almost invisible, being part of the screen).
